Brigadier-General (NS) Goh Kee Nguan was appointed the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Singapore Youth Olympic Games Organising Committee (SYOGOC) in April 2008. Prior to his appointment, he was in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) and had been with the Ministry of Defence since December 1979.

As the Chairman of the Executive Committee for the 2006 National Day Parade (NDP), BG (NS) Goh put together a myriad of items to foster patriotism among all Singaporeans and showcase Singapore as a "Global City", leaving participants and Singaporeans with fond memories and a positive experience.

He was the commander of the SAF Task Force sent to provide assistance to the Indonesians in the aftermath of the Tsunami disaster in 2004. He coordinated the SAF's relief operations in Northern Sumatra, working closely with the Indonesian authorities, foreign military forces, UN agencies and other organisations supporting the disaster relief effort.

BG (NS) Goh holds a BSc in computer programming from the University of New South-Wales, Australia and a Master in Strategic Studies from the US Army College, United States of America. He is married to Su Yen and they have a son, Joshua.
